HP Envy TouchSmart 17 Notebook

Following a recent update ( I'm on Windows 10) Bluetooth no longer functions on my PC (HP Envy Notebook).  The icon does not appear in the Action Centre.  I've tried updating hardware, uninstalling the device (Edifier Active Speaker) from the list in Device Manager, shutting down, re-starting.  hp support suggests, as one option, uninstalling a Bluetooth adaptor but there's a Mediatek Bluetooth adaptor listed in Device Manager (under 'Bluetooth') and a Ralink Bluetooth PCle adaptor (under 'Bluetooth Device').  So which do I uninstall?, and what if, once I close it down and re-start, I'm left with no Bluetooth adaptor?  Perhaps there's a way of undoing the update that caused the problem?   Any advice from anyone would be welcome before I end up taking it in to a computer repair shop and having to fork out a small fortune to put it right.
