"I am contacting you because I am desperate. I know this is not the purpose of this forum, but I am hoping someone may send me in the right direction. I am a 68-year-old grandmother who out of the blue had my Facebook account disabled yesterday. I have no idea why. I have tried to reach Facebook, but it has proved impossible. They want me to log on, which I obviously can't. I have tried every phone number listed on Google in excess of 13+ I have emailed every email address that is listed from both of my email accounts even finance and portals. I have tried to contact Meta with the same results. I even tried applying for a job, but I had to sign in. I've had my daughter try on her end, but she says she can't even search for me I have just disappeared. I also tried to open a new account. I tried to reach the Oversight Board and tried to contact members of the Oversight Board. I am at a loss. I use Facebook to connect with my kids and I have a few things listed on Marketplace. Nothing questionable or risque. I am considering going to one of those sites like "JustAnswer" "Howly" or "Ask Tech." I have no idea if they are legit or not. I am even thinking about getting an attorney. If any of you know anyone that has  had a similar situation, could you please let me know. it is so frustrating. Thank you so much. I know you are far more savvy than I.
