Hi:

If your notebook has the Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac 2 × 2 Wi-Fi adapter, you can upgrade to this model...

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 802.11ax 2 × 2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5 (non-vPro)   HP part # L35282-005

If your notebook has the Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac 1 × 1 Wi-Fi adapter, it only has one antenna wire, and you would not be able to upgrade it without completely disassembling the notebook including the display panel area to add a second antenna wire.

Then you would most likely have a hard time finding the right antenna wire it needs.

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the list of supported wifi cards in chapter 3 and the dual antenna kit as well.

126: *-network
128: product: RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Wireless Network Adapter
661: *-network:0
671: *-network:1

I was not lucky 😞

Thanks

You're very welcome.

Sorry your notebook came with the RTL8821CE.

It would be too much trouble to upgrade it.
