HP 5000 does not recognize items in document to be printed

HP ENVY 5050 will not recognize my documents to be printed.  It prints blanks

Welcome to HP forums, I see that your printer is printing blank pages.

• Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?
• When did this issue start?
• How is the printer connected to the computer, USB or Wireless?

Meanwhile:

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report

1. Load the printer with plain white paper.

2. On the printer control panel, swipe left on the display, and then touch Setup .

3. Touch Tools.

4. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Print Quality Report.

   A Print Quality Diagnostic report prints.
