HP ENVY 13t
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Community,

I have trouble connecting my HP ENVY13t to the internet.

I got it in August 2018 and I noticed that sometimes it would not detect any wirelss networks. At that time I could solve this with the troubleshooter which would reset the adapter and things would be fine. As time went on, I had to turn it off and on manually from the button and hold the button for some time until the laptop recognizes a network. In th past few days, I have had no luck with any method whatsoever. Everything has gone downhill. The error that I get is that there is no wireless network adapter installed. And if there is one, I should update the driver for it. When I go to device mnager, I don't see the wireless network adapter (even if I show hidden devices). I tried everything that I could find as solutions online (some command line changes and resets, reset Bios to default settings, found drivers and an adapter from posts on the HP community which I  downloaded on a flashdrive and installed on the laptop) and finally I did a clean reisntallation of Windows 10 TWICE! Still no wifi. Please, help!!!!!! I think my next option is a hammer....
