HP ENVY dv4t
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have an HP ENVY dv4t Laptop PC with Windows 8.1 (64-bit) installed.  I would like to wirelessly display  my laptop screen on my SmartTV.  I believe that requires that my laptop be "Intel WiDi and Miracast" capable, which I haven't found evidence in the specs that it is.  However, I do show that my TV is a wirelessly connected device.  I'm not well versed in all this stuff, so how should I proceed to test out the potential capability with out screwing one of both devices up?  Thanks in advance.
