Any time I try to connect to a wi-fi network, including my school's, I get the "Can't connect to this network" message. While at home I can use the internet because I plug my computer in to an ethernet cable. It is isn't my modem because Wi-fi works for my roomate at our home and wi-fi at school works for everyone else. The message "can't connect to this network" comes about instantly.. its like the computer is not even trying to connect (so something is disabled?)

The trouble shoot gives the "You have no preferred wireless networks"

When I tried it at school, where there is no ethernet cable available, I would get: "You have wi-fi disabled"

Here is an image of my adapters, this is with the option "show hidden devices". Is my pc missing an adapter?

I have tried a few solutions around the web to download this or download that but those links never work.

- I have done network reset

- I have tried reinstalling drivers for the "intel dual band wireless - AC7265

- Restarting BIOS to default

I suspect that an adapter is missing

Thank you in advanced!
