HP Envy x360 Ryzen7 - Wifi Dropping Off Every 5-10 min Can't use Zoom

I have just purchased the product and when I tested it for Zoom and general wifi ability, I noticed the wifi dropped off every 5-10min and it will disconnect everything and reconnect again. 

Also the speed test has shown it barely takes half of what I normally get with my Window Surface Pro, which gets 300mbp with fast BT fibre services. 

I have followed some suggestions on the community (like this: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Wireless-and-Networking/Reseting-or-Turning-the-Wifi-Adaptor-...), and uninstall the Realtek wifi adaptor and ask the system to reinstall again. I can't find this drive on the HP website though. 

Some suggestions I found was about changing the power management on the Driver, but I can't find such options on Device Manager as I was directed to.... 

I guess this is what my network adaptor is: realtek rtl8852ae wifi 6 802.11 ax pcie adapter driver 6001.0.10.320? as this is the only one with the word 'wifi' on device manager.

I simply don't know what else I can do.

I have a very similar problem although different machine. Brand new pavilion 13 with ryzen 5800U and RTL8852AE wifi card. I constantly have lower bars on wifi comparing to my other laptops, and even when wifi is at full bars I will get lag spikes. Zoom calls are a pain currently because of constant 1-2 second freezes.

Tried to update drivers, but seems they are already the newest ones since the version doesn't change. Also uninstalled the device and let it get reinstalled, no help. I ran a continuous ping to google.com, getting some 1500ms values while mostly maintaining 5-50ms responses.

Something is obviously wrong but it's hard to say is it a software or hardware issue.

same problems at me with an ENVY x360 15-eu0078ng with a Ryzen 7 5700u.

This laptop uses the same Realtek RTL8852ae wifi-card.  Even here the same bad wifi-experience with dropping the connection every 5 - 10 seconds.

On the HP website, there is no new driver available, but in the web you can search for the version 6001.0.10.323 and newer. On your machine, there must be the 6001.0.10.320 installed.

According Windows, installed Driver for "Realtek RTL8852AE WiFi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter" is 6001.0.10.320

if you ask google for "Realtek RTL8852AE" then you'll find a link to the Lenovo-Homepage, where you can download the version 6001.0.10.334 datet on 11 Aug 2021.

Thanks, Wifi seems not to drop any longer. However, the signal strengh is still pretty poor. The amount of complains within this forum indicate that there might be a major problem with this chip!

Just spent a full day with a tech on the phone. Did a full reset of my laptop. Had to back everything up as totally wiped. As soon as tech went off the phone the same problem occurred. Complete waste of time (As is their WhatsApp survice that takes 24hours to reply).

It could be an issue with 5ghz WiFi from router and laptop keeps defaulting to 2.4ghz. Tech couldn't get it to stay on 5ghz and it went back to 2.4ghz immediately after the call. I've now managed to get it to stay on 5ghz, at least for a while, but still getting appalling internet speed (approx 10% of the speed I get on my HP desk-top).

Try changing the power plan in the settings. PCI Express or Wireless Adapter Settings.
It helped me to strengthen the WIFI signal

I just bought a Pavilion 15-eh1 with the same Realtek WiFi adpater.

It was dropping the internet as well then started Blue Screening.  Everytime I would boot with WiFi on it would just Blue Screen after a while.

I just updated the driver to 6001.0.10.329 and it seems much better now.  Hasn't crashed and the Wifi hasn't dropped.  Previous driver version was 309.

Facing the same issue with HP 15s-fq2060ur (3Y1S4EA) and still struggling to find the core of it. My wifi card is different though: Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe adapter. Found some driver for it, but it didn't work out. Maybe still old version, couldn't just find any other.
