Hello, for the last 2 weeks I have had a problem with my laptop's wifi. The wifi stops working after a few minutes of turning it on, pages do not load, the laptop cannot be updated. The system does not detect the problem and shows the full range of the laptop. This only happens with this router, when I connect the laptop to the router on my smartphone it works normally. I do not know what is going on, there was no problem before and only this laptop has a problem with this router. I have many things connected to the router and none of them have a problem.

The wifi card is RTL8821CE, and the router is Acer Predator Connect T7.

 

What I tried was:
- virus scan (did not find anything)
- full reinstallation of Windows
- all available updates from Windows Update
- several versions of wifi drivers (from the HP website, the manufacturer and some old ones)
- connecting to both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz networks
- changing DNS to Google and wifi channels
- updating the laptop's BIOS and other drivers

Please Help

Hi:

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to update the Wi-Fi driver to the latest version HP currently has for the RTL821CE:

 

Version 2024.10.230.2
