Hello

My hp notebook laptop, purchased brand new in 2016 was working fine with our wifi till we got a new router. All other devices are working fine on this router but the laptop which just cannot detect it even though it's detecting other networks in the building just fine. We've tried most everything including installing driver but it's still not working. Please help. Thank you!

Your machine may ONLY support 2.4GHz networks.  You can simply give your wifi router to broadcast dual bands, it will pick up and allow you to connect.

Other option is to replace Wireless adapter (if allowed). What is your machine ? Please use the following way to find out the model/product of your machine

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

How do you replace the adapter or get the router to depict dual bandwidths?
