HP Notebook - Wifi disconnects
01-20-2022 12:10 AM

I am using HP Notebook14s for more than a year, the problem persists & repeats frequently, bringing the topic to forum looking for a resolution because I have had it enough.
Problem statement: Wifi is connected to a wifi source, Wifi disconnects by itself when laptop is idle for sometime.
When searched for wifi source, connectivity is available but not able to connect once it disconnects. When troubleshooting is done, error message as follows.
Error msg: Driver has hardware issue or connectivity is broken.
In device manager - Realtek driver is not active.
I am able to connect the same wifi source only after restarting the laptop each and every time.
Driver used: Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Adaptor. Driver is up to date.
Need solution for the issue.

wireless adapter disappears. Same message as above when troubleshooting is run. I had to buy a rj45 adapter to download any updates. This is a deal breaker for me if this dosnt get resolved soon.
Pavilion x360 14-byxxx running Windows 11 with all updates and latest drivers.
