The wifi card on this laptop has stopped detecting any wifi networks, card shows enabled and working in device manager but the network it should connect to is not showing?

I've re-imaged the laptop (it's in a school so use WDS to re-image it) and put on the image it had before that was working but now it won't detect any wifi networks.

Have installed HP Support Assistant and that updated the wifi driver but it still won't find any wireless networks, have another of the same laptop and that is working on wifi just fine in the same room!

The wifi is a RTL8xxx  series!

As an update, the laptop was previously showing Code 45 Device not Connected in Device Manager and after re-imaging the laptop it now shows as working in Device Manager but does not show any wireless networks to connect to even after updating the wireless driver!
