Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,
I am trying to upgrade my wifi card to wifi6e in one of my laptops, i  have replaced the (intel) AX201NGW card with a (intel) AX211NGW.
After boot it shows up in device manager
"Other devices>Network Contoller"
          (driver not installed)
Also i get the "Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R)"
This device cannot start (Code 10)
           STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE
Wifi card is not detected automatically, also not with the .exe intel driver. When i install the driver manualy i also get the error This device cannot start (Code 10)

It looks like the card isnt powering on or something, i already tryed 3 different AX211 cards, now the quistion is, is the card even compataible with this laptop or am i doing something wrong?

Thanks in advanced!

Hi:

I don't believe that you can upgrade from the AX201 to the AX211, but you should be able to upgrade to the AX210:

This part number/SPS number:

Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # / SPS # M27269-005

You're very welcome.

Glad the AX210 Wi-Fi card worked in your notebook.
