Per the subject line:
HP Pavilion 15-AB292NR, on power up, the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 internal WiFi adapter is not found, white square with red X is displayed in lower right corner of Windows 10 login screen.
Must power-cycle or restart laptop 2 or 3 times before the white square with the red X on the Win10 login screen is replaced by the little Internet Access "Fan", then device works. Wireless network then runs fine.
Has all the latest Windows 10 Home x64 updates and drivers. Microsoft Windows 10 [Version 10.0.14393]

First try this driver and overwrite the old ones if needed.
2: After the computer is restarted please download this driver: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75001-75500/sp75240.exe . Remember do not run it just download.
3: Go to device manager and right click on the wifi adapter(Intel AC 3165) and press uninstall but a x in remove the driver software.
4: When the Intel driver is gone from device manager. Go ahead and install the driver you just downloaded and restart the computer after please and check if everything is okay now.
