Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a new HP color laserjet MFP M281fdw.  It is connected to the router via ethernet cable.  I have shared the new printer and printed with it using a Win7 PC, iPhone, iPad and Macbook Air.  My wife has an HP Pavilion 360 convertible 17" laptop running Win10 and it cannot find the new printer.  I have done all of the troubleshooting suggested in several Microsoft webpages, I have tried using the correct IP address for the printer, I have posted this problem at the Anandtech website, nothing works, the laptop cannot find the new printer.

Today I brought home a Dell Inspiron laptop also running Win10.  Sitting right next to the HP laptop the Dell found the new printer in less than 5 seconds over wifi.

I posted this in the HP Community dedicated to laser printers but got no replies.  I'm hoping someone here can give me some direction because after several days of trying I'm at a dead end.

Hi

I can only suggest comparing the IP addresses, and pinging the printer from the problem PC initially.

C:\>ping 192.168.1.1
