HP Pavilion tp01-3003w All-In-One wifi problem.

I have the all in one HP Pavilion. It connects to the internet for a couple minutes. (most is 5 minutes) After that it disconnects and says Secured, No Internet. It then kicks off all my devices and messes with the router somehow saying that there’s no internet at all for any device and stays in what seems an inactive state. What the heck is going on with this pc? And why is it messing with my Router so badly?

Hi @LaptopLover24,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're facing a complex issue with your HP Pavilion All-In-One's Wi-Fi connectivity that is also affecting your router and other devices. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problem.

  • Update Network Drivers: Ensure that the network drivers on your HP Pavilion are up-to-date. Visit the HP support website, enter your PC model, and download the latest network drivers.
  • Check Router Settings: Make sure your router firmware is updated. Reset your router to factory settings and reconfigure it. Also, try changing the Wi-Fi channel on your router to reduce interference.
  • Disable IPv6: Some devices may have issues with IPv6. Try disabling IPv6 on both your router and your HP Pavilion. You can usually do this in the network adapter settings on your PC.
  • Power Management Settings: Disable power management for your wireless network adapter to ensure it doesn’t turn off to save power. Go to Device Manager, find your Wi-Fi adapter, right-click, and go to Properties. Look for a Power Management tab and uncheck the option to allow the computer to turn off the device.
  • Update Router Firmware: Make sure your router's firmware is updated to the latest version. You can usually find firmware updates on the manufacturer's website.
  • Check for Interference: Other electronic devices, neighboring Wi-Fi networks, or physical obstructions may be causing interference. Move your router to a central location and away from other electronic devices. Also, try changing the Wi-Fi channel.
  • Run Network Troubleshooter: Use the built-in Windows Network Troubleshooter. Right-click on the network icon in the system tray and select "Troubleshoot problems."
  • Security Software: Check if any security software on your PC is causing the issue. Temporarily disable antivirus or firewall software and see if the problem persists.

Remember to back up important data before making significant changes to your system.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
