Pavilion dm4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,

I am having a problem with my HP Pavilion dm4. It's running Windows 10 64 bit and I can't connect to my acces point at home. I have tried all possible things as  I am working in IT myself. Tried forgetting the known networks and checking the drivers but that doesn't seem to help. It shows in device manager as the adapter and wired connection works as well.

Aslo worth noting a wireless hotspot connection via my phone does work which is weird to me. My wireless adapter is a Broadcom 802.11 n-network adapter. Basically I am stuck at this point I searched many forums as well and people seem to have problems very similair to mine but not exactly. The light on the keyboard is showing white LED on the F12 key so that indicates that it is able to work. It searches for wifi just fine but it's the connecting that doens't seem to work.

If anyone can assist me in this please let me know 🙂

Best regards,

Mark W
