HP Pavilion laptop will not connect to internet thru home wireless even tho other laptops work ok. It shows the server signal as strong but no internet.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.
- When was the last time the computer was working fine?
- What is the model of your computer?
- What is the operating system you are using?
- Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
- Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?
Meanwhile, follow the below steps and check if it helps.
Open CMD as Admin: Copy the following commands, and press Enter after each one.
netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
netsh int tcp show global (Check if All settings have taken effect)
Reboot the system and see if it works.

last computer worked fine was 1.5yrs ago
model is 14-b120dx
OS is Windows 7
Machine is as-shipped
Went thru troubleshooting screens that appeared but not able to do anything in depth
I'll do the suggested steps and look forward to your reply
