Can you confirm there is no way to reverse the FN key function on that keyboard ?

This is the only thread I could find related to it : Pavilion-600-Wireless-Keyboard-Reverse-FN-key-function

(I didn't post the link because this board apparently doesn't allow links for its own domain...wow).

 

The answer from the HP support is just plain wrong, nothing that is suggested actually works. Special mention to the advice to use the "FN lock" button that is actually...the button to lock the screen.

 

Unfortunately, since the user of that keyboard I'm asking this question for does not have admin privileges on the machine she uses the keyboard on, there's no possibility to fix it through software.

Releasing a keyboard with no physical way to reverse the FN key is plain stupid, HP. She'll go Microsoft or LG the next time.
