HP Spectre X360 13-4101dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I received an HP Pen as a gift, and from what I've seen, it's supposed to be compatible with my HP Spectre X360 13-4101dx, however I cannot get it to work at all. I inserted the brand new battery, but when I click the screen with the pen, nothing is recognized or is prompted to setup. I would really like to use this pen, or at least know if there's no way to make it work so I know not to waste my time and purchase a new one. Please help!!!

For reference the HP pen P/N is 905512-001

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

After reading your post, I did go through the Touchscreen Compatibility with Pen and Stylus of your product and found that your computer model is not supported.

If your model is not listed but features a touch screen, it is still compatible with a passive stylus. Passive styluses do not require batteries, do not have any configurable options, and do not use specific pen software.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
