I have an HP ProBook 4530s laptop. Motherboard stopped working. So ordered a new one online and installed. Then I installed Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit version. This one didn't come up with a wireless card. So I plugged the modem into the ethernet port and logged on to the pc. The light next to the port shows solid green but the icon on laptop shows not connected and no internet. I think lot of drivers need to be upgraded. However, sine I don't have internet, I am unable to upgrade them. Any help is appreciated to make the ehternet connection work.

Hi:
Download the ethernet driver onto another PC, and copy it to a USB flash drive.
Plug the flash drive into your 4530s' USB 2 port and run the driver file from the flash drive, or copy it to the windows desktop and run it from there.
This package provides the driver for the Realtek Ethernet Controller in the supported notebook models running a supported operating system.
