Product: Pavilion G6
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

 I have been having this eternal problem with my Pavilion G6, Win10 Home 64 Bit

These adapters have always been having problems since a year now. - 

Microsoft Wi Fi Direct Virtual Adapter

RALink RT5390 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter

 

I have taken the device manager route, update driver route, tried every possible thing. re installed Win 10. still it doesnt connect to WiFi Internet.

Connects only to Hotspot, that too with a USB wifi adapter. 

 

Pls help!

I would suggest you follow the steps from the document HP PCs - Wireless Network and Internet Troubleshooting (Windows 10).
