Hp Victus 16

Hello,

We bought two laptops HP Victus 16 few months ago. One for my girlfriend and one for her brother.

We have a common issue about wifi. This one disconnect automatically after a random time and we have to reboot de network adapter to have wifi back again.

We are not living in same house so we have same issue with different wifi provider.

Having this issue on a computer of that price is a little be ununderstandable.

Could you please tell me how to fix that please ?

I already tryed to upgrade drivers.

Thanks a lot in advance

Kr,

David

Hi:

What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?

Use this guide to find that information.

What model Wi-Fi adapter does the notebook come with and what is the driver version and date?

Hello,

Model is HP VICTUS 16-e0095nf.

Adapter is Realtek RTL8852AE Wifi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter with version 6001.10.350.0 (01/06/2022)

Thanks.

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, you have the latest version of the Wi-Fi driver installed.

There seems to be several folks on this forum that have a very similar problem with the Wi-Fi disconnecting.

I see that on the newer Victus 16-e1xxx model series, HP has abandoned that model Wi-Fi adapter for the Mediatek AX Wi-Fi adapters.

Hopefully, Realtek will release another driver update soon, so the only suggestion I can offer at this point would be to contact HP technical support in Belgium, report the issue and see if a HP customer services rep has information that we volunteer forum members don't have access to.

HP tends to keep the drivers more up to date on the business class notebooks, so if you don't see newer drivers released on your notebook's support page, check this business notebook's driver page for the latest releases.
