HP dv6-6140us wifi upgrade

HP Recommended
pavilion dv6-6140us
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is there an easy upgrade to the wifi/network card for the HP dv6-6140us to  500 Meg?  It's used on ethernet at 350 Meg.

AMD quadcore, current wifi/network adapter is Broadcom 4313agn.

Thanks

Hi:

Since your notebook has a BIOS whitelist which prevents the installation of any other wifi card but the  Broadcom 4313agn wifi adapter with the specific HP part number it has, your only option would be to use a dual band USB wifi adapter.

None of the dv6-6xxx notebook's came with dual band wifi.
