HP Laptop - 15-gw0035dx
Microsoft Windows 11

Good day fellow HP Owners, I have an HP 15.6" Touchscreen - AMD Ryzen 5 - 8GB Memory - 512GB SSD Laptop purchased by my girlfriend as a Christmas gift December 2024 at Best Buy, which intermittently drops the wi-fi connection, requiring a reboot or restart of the adapter card. I'm 67 years old and have already spent nearly 3 hours with HP support to attempt repair and yet they are requiring me to purchase a 32GB flash-drive and contact them again after nearly 3 hours of troubleshooting already.  I just want to be able to use my laptop normally without further distress. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thank You for any help you may offer me, "skipster58"

Hi:

The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with a Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 PCle Adapter.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to update the Realtek RTL8821CE WIFI driver to the latest version HP currently has:

2024.10.230.2
