HP pavilion keeps removing me from my wifi connection every 1 to 4 min then it just stops after like 10 min of this happening and stays connected to the wifi for the time the computer is on once it turns off or restarts the cycle starts again, we switched from century link to xfinity a few weeks ago and thats when this issue started and I cant fix it, we tried everything we could find we even called geek squad and they did a remote connection to fix it and nothing. This is driving my crazy some one please help!

What model Wi-Fi adapter does your notebook have?
if you don't know, go to the device manager, click to expand the Network adapters device manager category, and there you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter.

I call laptops 'notebooks.'
As a matter of fact, the HP forum topic is 'notebooks,' not laptops.
The terms are pretty much interchangeable as far as I'm concerned.
