HP15-af104au
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. My HP15-af104au can only connect to 2.4 band. I updated to Bios F.28-AMD Agesa MullinsPI V1.0.0.A 17/05/19. AMD A6-6310 Processor with Radeon R4 Graphics Card and I've upgrade Ram to 16GB.

Current network adapter is Broadcom BCM43142 801.11 bgn WiFi M.2. I purchased an Intel AX201NGW Dual Band Card fits perfectly, laptop starts up and works normally but does not pick up the card.

My question is. What 5G card that is compatible with my laptop please? I want 5G capability for my laptop.

Hi:

I believe this model wifi card will work in your notebook...

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

You can find this model on eBay, or Ali Express.

I see Intel 3165 cards listed at the top of the eBay listings, so don't buy those.

RTL8821CE - Buy RTL8821CE with free shipping on AliExpress

On the Ali Express listings, make sure the card has the HP Part # of 915620-001
