My laptop battery is draining too fast(less than 90 min) and while browsing I am losing my wi-fi broad band data very fast as well(example 500-600 MB in 5 minutes) . This is not normal as my normal monthly broadband data usage is much lesser. I measured the data flow using the data meter in the windows wi-fi properties. I checked my windows defender and Mccaffe and they showed no virus or malware alerts. For example I lost 300MB of data while posting this question(no other browsing windows/tab were opened). Any suggestions on how I can overcome this issue?

Hi

Assume you have been hacked, and run Anti-Virus and MalwareBytes accordingly.

I ran TDS KIller. The same problem persists. The windows defender is not allowing the app to make the rrequired changes. I allowed the app to make changes but the problem still persists.

Hi

Sorry I cannot really offer anymore help.

There are Bootable cleaners, and that is where I would start, not to start windows and try from there.
