Product: hP envy laptop

I am using HP Envy laptop.i am not able to connect to 5G network. My phone and tablet are working well with 5G but laptop is not showing 5g connection. is my laptop not compatable with 5g ??How to find it and how i can fix it?

What is your HP Envy ? There are hundreds of models/products called HP Envy out there. Probably the wifi adapter/card of your machine ONLY supports 2.4GHz networks therefore it can't see 5GHz networks.

 

How to fix: On many machines users can't change their internal wifi adapters therefore users have to use external adapters such as

 

           https://www.lifewire.com/top-wi-fi-usb-adapters-2377825

 

You may be able to change but what is your machine ?
