Hello people. Does anyone know if my hp envy x360 supports mobile hotspot so I can use it out and about? Please

Given you have data on phone, yes, you can use your phone as hotpot network to allow you connect to mobile phone.

So I have the right data but my laptop mobile hotspot tab is grey and I can’t click it? Thanks again

You have to talk with your phone provider. You have to turn HOTSPOT from your phone, after that it broadcast an SSID you can connect to that SSID like all other SSID's

So my phone is fine I use it as a mobile hotspot on other devices but my hp envy x360 doesn’t seem to have the option to do this? No way for searching for a mobile hotspot

Which option ?  Double click wifi icon, can you see hotspot SSID on the list ? Also check your phone to see DOES it actual broadcast a network (SSID) ?
