I have a hp elitbook 840 g5 with sim card slot. Now how can i make call using the sim card slot

Hi:

 

Every Elitebook 840 G5 has a SIM card slot.

 

What 90% of them don't have is the required WWAN adapter used to connect to the cellular towers.

 

Does your notebook have the required WWAN adapter that allows the SIM card to connect to the cellular network?

 

If not, you won't be able to use mobile Broadband.

 

Your notebook needs to have one of these model WWAN adapters installed and listed under the Network Adapters device manager category.

 

HP lt4132, LTE/HSPA+ w/GPS

Intel XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced
