The last time I tried HP support the tech told that he couldn’t solve my connection issue and for me to take the machine (pos) back to the store and get my money back HP tech-support has a record of that conversation

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.

 

Is this the first time you are setting up your printer?

Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only. 

 

Meanwhile, refer to this document and see how it goes.
