HP Recommended

I try to enter my serial number for my device to fix my wi-fi connection. but the website won't give it to me or even let me speak to a person about it because the warranty expired. Other laptops in this household can connect to the internet just fine, and my laptop will let me connect through a phone's hotspot, but the Microsoft person says I need to get the right drivers to fix my internet issue. Would anybody know where I can get those?

What is the product number of your notebook?

 

To find the product number for your PC, click on the search icon on your Windows taskbar.

 

Type: System Information

 

The System information app should show up.

 

Run the app and the product number of your PC will be found on the System SKU line about 1/4 of the way down on the report.
