Hp Active Gen2 Pen not working

Hi, I have a Hp Pavilion x360 laptop and just bought a Hp Active Gen 2 pen from CEX but it is not working. It connects to the laptop through Bluetooth and when I press the eraser button, one note opens but that's it. It doesn't draw on the screen or anything and the side buttons don't work. Is there something I'm doing wrong or should I take it back to CEX? Thanks

I understand you have a new HP Active Pen 2 not working with your HP Pavilion x360 laptop, Please note, not all X360 models will support Active Pen 2; only a few models, like Spectre or Envy, have the pen function. to help you better find the solution,
