Hi,

I have checked the specs of my WiFi adapter and apparently is supports 5ghz WiFi but whenever u try to connect it says unable to connect.

It has the Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac adapter.

I've made sure in properties it searches for 5ghz networks 1st.

I've also updated the bios and firmware to the laptop.

I've uninstalled the network adapter and reinstalled it.

If anyone could help with this issue or has had the same problem it would be great if you could get in touch and give me some advice.

Thank you in advance.

Hi:

I don't know what driver version you have installed, but the only suggestion I can offer, would be to update the wifi and bluetooth drivers to their latest versions and restart the PC.

That has solved the problem for some forum members that have the RTL8822CE wifi adapter.
