Hello!
I have a g62 notebook and my wireless key is turned off, i tried troubleshooting, fn+f12, alt+f12, nothing works, also in the Device Manager page it doesn't appear the Network Adapters option.
Can someone help? How do i turn it on?
Thank you in advance!

Hi,

Please try f12 without fn or alt.

Hi,

You picked up a wrong hardware id. Anyway, the model of your machine is: HP G62-b18SA

Please try this:

   http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp49501-50000/sp49541.exe

reboot and then this:

   http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp50001-50500/sp50180.exe

Otherwise we need the right hardware id of the Network adapter.

Regards.

So I've found lots of people looking for solutions to the wireless not working on the hp g62 laptop.

I fixed mine by removing the pannel on the bottom to look at how hard it would be to replace the network card.

Found one of the two very very tine antenna's had become uplugged from the network card.

Plugged it back onto the card and now the wireless is working great!

Hope this helps some of you!
