I had internet till we had a tornado until then. All other devices for internet is normal.  A message said wireless module not properly installed (701) was the code

I know  nothing about this . I need to get back online can't do my work

Most likely the wifi adapter gets fried you can try the following check first

 

  • Perform a power Drain, by disconnecting AC Adapter, Removing Battery and Holding the power button down for a few secs, and check..
  • Reseat the wireless card and check

If none of the above work than you will have get the wireless card replaced.. Unfortunately, it is too old, I can find its specs to get which the wifi adapter it uses

 

For quick result, please go out (to Best Buy for example) and buy something like (or similar)
