HP15 db1060AU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello I bought a new laptop hp 15db 1060au and I want to connect it to my VU 55INCH 4K SMART TV Wirelessly.

But it is not connecting. My laptop is showing notification that something went wrong.

Both my laptop and smart tv are connected on same network. My device drivers are fully updated.

My smart tv is added to laptop through add device option in Windows settings.

In the initial stage it is showing as connecting to device and later it is showing that something went wrong and not showing any error.

If we think there is a problem with tv but my android mobile is connecting through mirror cast.

Could u please resolve the issue.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Make sure your computer is connected to a network and the display you want to connect to is turned on. In Windows, click the Action Center icon on the taskbar, and then click Connect. Wait while the computer searches for wireless display devices, and then select the wireless display you want from the search results.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
