My Laptop is HP Elitebook 840 G2 and is running windows 10

I have installed the sim card in the slot, but i can't get it to work, can anyone help me please?

Hi:

 

All Elitebook G2's have SIM card slots.  What 90% of them don't have is the optional but required WWAN adapter that is needed to connect to the cellular service.

 

Your notebook has to have one of these three WWAN adapters installed in order for the SIM card to work.

 

HP lt4112 LTE/HSPA+ Qualcomm® Gobi™ 4G Module
HP lt4211 LTE/EV-DO/HSPA+ Qualcomm® Gobi™ 4G Module
HP hs3110 HSPA+ Mobile Broadband Module

 

If your notebook has one of these adapters, it will be listed under the Network Adapters device manager category.
