Product: HP 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cp0000 IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
I've tried to connect to my DLink Gigabit router using both a Linksys and HP USB 3.0 Gigabit adapters and only get 100 Mbps. The same adapters work with my desktops (Windows 11 & Linux) using the same cable and port on the router connects at 1 Gbps ever time. I called HP customer support and only got really PISSED and the run around over two hours on the phone and they wanted to connect me to someone that would charge me because it was a network problem.
I can connect my old laptop using either adapter and get 1 Gbps. So it something with the HP laptop. I have this problem on both of my HP laptops (wife and mine).
