Hi my note book is not picking up the 5G faster internet line for it to join, it is only picking  up the 2.4G line to join. I have had engineer out to assess my internet and the issue is with my notebook, he has checked and it has the ability to be able to pick up and use the 5G line but we do not know what or where to look to fix this, can anyone help please

It has  802.11b/g/n (1x1) and Bluetooth® 4.0 combo (Miracast compatible) wifi adapter which supports 2.4GHz only. It won't be able to "see" 5.0GHz networks. You can only replace it with a right adapter.

 

Unfortunately no option for the series form day 1 (factory installed) therefore no official available parts. Your machine was built early 2015, you can try Intel 3165 wifi adapter or using USB adapter such as
