Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello
I have a laptop HP 15-cw0034ur (4TV62EA). I connect this laptop to a 100 Mbps network. However, when connected, the laptop does not receive and does not give more than 8 Mbps.

I installed the drivers from the official NP site - it did not help. I tried to install drivers on the RTL8821CE network card from the official Realtek website, which is installed on my laptop, but this did not help either. The speed still does not rise above 8 Mbit. How to fix this problem?

Thank!

@SunEclipse,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

This is a wonderful place to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips.

I reviewed your post and understand that you are facing issues with the internet connection speed.

I'll be glad to help you 🙂

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the computer was working fine?
  • Have you checked the Internet connection speed on other devices?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?

While you respond to that, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.
