Does anyone know if there is a compatible upgrade for the existing 2.4G wifi adapter in the HP Pavillion dm4-1150ca Product: XH126UA to a 5G wifi adapter.  If so can you please reply w/ the adapter's product name, model# and specs and where it is available either in Canada or the US. This is a Centrino Advanced-N 6250 which is a dual band card. It is not 802.11ac but can send and receive in the 5 ghz band.

Sold through amazon.com:

There is no other compatible 5ghz capable card. Your laptop still has the HP whitelist and can only work with wireless cards listed in the manual and it must be a card with an HP part number not the same chip without an HP part number.
