The WiFi stops working when I run a program that requires significant CPU usage, such as Photoshop, Blender, or playing a game.

It sounds like your WiFi issues with the Intel WiFi AX201 on your HP ENVY 14 might be related to resource management or potential driver conflicts. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue.
Update Drivers
- WiFi Driver: Go to the Intel Download Center or HP's support page for your ENVY 14 to download the latest WiFi drivers. Install the updated drivers and see if the problem persists.
- Chipset Drivers: Sometimes, updating the chipset drivers can also resolve such issues. Check for any available updates for your chipset drivers on HP’s support site or Intel’s website.
Check Power Management Settings
- Windows Power Plan: Ensure that your power plan is set to "High Performance." Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options and select High Performance.
- WiFi Adapter Power Settings: Open Device Manager, find your Intel WiFi AX201 adapter under Network adapters, right-click and choose Properties. Go to the Power Management tab and uncheck the option that allows the computer to turn off the device to save power.
Adjust CPU Affinity
- Task Manager: Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), go to the Details tab, right-click on the application causing the issue, and select Set affinity. Try setting the application to use fewer CPU cores and see if that stabilizes your WiFi connection.
Check for Interference
- Wireless Interference: Ensure that there is no physical or electromagnetic interference around your laptop. Sometimes other electronic devices or even certain materials can interfere with WiFi signals.
