When my Laptop runs on battery and I start the Laptop, the W-LAN connection symbol is shown shortly, but a few seconds later it is gone and the W-LAN connection is lost. I then have to disconnect the W-LAN, reconnect to W-LAN, then usually it works for a few seconds to minutes, then the process starts again. After a few cycles the W-LAN connection often stays longer active, but after some time it fails again.
What could it be? I already tried to drain the battery to about 15%, deinstall battery driver, reboot, install battery driver again. All drivers are up to date. But it did not help.
Any advice please?

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to update the Realtek Wi-Fi driver to the latest version HP currently has.
The below driver is considerably newer than any of those listed on your notebook's support page.

Hi,
thanks for the info about the unlisted driver. I have updated it and it seems to improve the situation.
The lost of connection did appear again, but not as often as before. After I have changed the energy setting, it did not occur again sine then. I really hope it stays this way.
