Pavilion g6-2210sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have reloaded Windows 10 on my Pavilion g6-2210sa laptop and now I can only connect to the internet via cable network adapter. Wireless adapter has vanished from Device Manager and from Network Status. Operating f12 does nothing except enter airplane mode and the light remains amber.

Adapter is Ralink RT5390.

Have tried everything to get it back but without an icon I can't even consider updating the driver.

Can anyone help ?

HP does not seem to support my laptop anymore and I cannot even load the original support drivers/software in case mine are corrupted.

See if the wireless card can be found:

Yes there are hidden drivers in Windows Device manager, sometimes it can be useful to view them for troubleshooting
