Lost bluetooth drvers

I need bluetooth drivers that work with win 10 on this notebook help please

The parts list for your notebook indicates that it does not have a combination Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter.

I cannot find any specs for your notebook, but this old Wal-Mart ad indicates that it came with Wi-Fi only, no Bluetooth.

I would like to say thank you for your help sir first off. And say this was a entertainment dv7 -7115nr at least when I checked with hp. And yes it did come with Bluetooth when upgraded from w7 to w10 everything changed and I looked and looked again. All I know is if it did it doesn't now but thank you again sir for your help.

You're very welcome.

If you are sure your notebook came with Bluetooth, and you had upgraded from W7>W10, if you had the HP connection manager software installed on W7, and the Bluetooth was turned off in the connection manager software when you upgraded to W10, you can turn the Bluetooth back on by making a bootable USB Ubuntu installer.

Here's the tutorial for how to make the Ubuntu file bootable:

Create a bootable USB stick with Rufus on Windows | Ubuntu

Boot from the Ubuntu installer.

Select the option to 'try Ubuntu without installing.'

If your notebook came with Bluetooth, you will be able to turn on the Bluetooth in Ubuntu.

After you turn on the Bluetooth, exit Ubuntu, shut down the PC, remove the Ubuntu installer, turn on the PC and when you get into Windows the Bluetooth should be present.

If W10 does not install a driver for the Atheros Bluetooth adapter, this W10 driver should work.
