HP ENVY NOTEBOOK
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello all

I am having issues with my HP ENVY Notebook running Windows 10 which will not connect to the WiFi. Hoping someone can help.

My network status shows that "I am not connected to any network".

Running the Trobleshooter it identifies that "Windows could not detect a properly installed network adapter" If you have a network adapter you will need to reinstall the driver".

I rolled back to a previous Windows Restore Point - no joy

I carried out a full windows reset - still no joy.

I viewed the Device Manager - Network Adapters. None were shown.

I accessed the HP support drivers page and downloaded and installed the following driver files:-

sp72119.exe

sp73250.exe

sp73310.exe

sp74027.exe

sp75249.exe

sp75360.exe

which were all the network drivers listed for my notebook.

I restarted the notebook.

Viewed the Device Manager - Network Adapters - which did not show any adapters present.

Still had no joy with connecting to WiFi.

There is no ethernet port to allow me to hardwire connect this notebook.

Would the above point to a hardware failure of the network adapter(s)?

Any pointers gratefully received.

Thanks in advance

I have switched the Notebook on this morning and all appears to be OK!

The WiFi is working and network adapters have reappeared on the Device Manager listings.

Thank you Banhien for taking the time to respond.

I am at a loss to explain the sudden functioning of the Notebook.

Apologies if I may have wasted anyone's time.
