After recent W11 updates, I can no longer "cast" to network TVs that I had successfully cast to before.  The TVs are listed as available to connect to wirelessly, but the connection process starts but is never successful.

I am guessing that your win 11 upgrade may have changed your Wi-FI adapter and it is running at 5ghz and the TVs are only capable of 2.4ghz.  They both need to be on the same band OR the TV needs to be hard wired into the router.

I tried this and even set the Wi-Fi driver properties to use 2.4 ghz as the preferred channel.  This didn't make any difference.  I also deleted the wireless driver and reinstalled the HP recommended wireless driver.  Still no change.  A system restore also did nothing.

I assume you are not using WPA enterprise

Note that windows 11 requires wpa2 or wpa3 or better.

On my LG tv I need to have soft ap disabled and wi-fi dlirect enabled.

I have to respond to the TV and before it times out.  I have to hurry to the TV

My operating system is Windows 11 Home 64-bit Version: 26100.2605.  My home network uses wpa2 and all the devices used to connect with no problem until recent W11 updates.
