Product: HP ENVY x360

Hi! I have HP ENVY x360 and when I try to connect my laptop to my Procaster TV, the screen of my laptop goes blue and says " 😞 error". Then it restarts. Same happened with my windows tablet. How can I fix this and connect my laptop to my TV?

  • Have you tried connecting to a different monitor or TV?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Is this first time your trying to do Miracast? Have you tried the HDMI setup?

I haven't tried to contact to another TV.

I haven't made any hardware/software changes - I think 😀

Yes, this is the first time I try to do Miracast. My laptop doesn't have HDMI port and I don't have an adapter to it. 

My product number is 6SQ55EA#UUW

 

I have checked that list and when I try to contact my laptop to TV I do everything right. When I press the button to contact it works like a second and then it restarts with a blue screen " 😞 error " It also says "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED" 

 

I don't know what's the problem with this and that also came when I tried to contact my windows tablet.

@--SS-- I went through the specifications of your device and it looks like this device doesn't have Miracast support: click here to verify

That said, you could make use of the USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ to connect the TV via USB Type-C to HDMI/Display port converter.


Let me know if that works.

Okay, thank you 🙂 How my laptop still connected to the TV for like a second? That was weird. And I have those options to connect and my laptop founds the TV. But well, I'll try to connect via adapter next. 🙂
